The rise of software had seen the emergence of ultra-efficient billion-dollar companies like Instagram, which had only 7 employees when it was acquired, and WhatsApp, which sold for $20B with just 40-50 people.

AI is now predicted to take this trend to a new level, with the potential for one-person billion-dollar companies soon.

We'll see the rise of the 'solopreneur' - $1B, $10B, maybe even a $1T company in a decade or so with one or two people.
